Hmmmmm?
"What you focus on determines what you miss." - Brian McLaren, quoting a friend while preaching 09/18/05 on The Emergent ChurchWow. That's one of those phrases that is really hitting target with me today. What am I missing because of what I'm focusing on? Where am I missing out because I'm not looking there? What am I focusing on, and does that mean that I'm missing something else?

As long as you are seeking first the kingdom of God, you aren't missing anything.
i don't know - that verse says "seek first His kingdom AND His righteousness......" - hmm? might be missing something still if i get too focused on His kingdom and not somehow on His righteousness as it's supposed to be lived out through me - hmm? :)

but then...too much of this type of thinking gets you to the point of feeling like somehow you fail as much as you keep trying.
the other thought i had was: by marrying THIS man, who else did i miss? (not somethin you want to ask)
