got Gas?

this is an audio post - click to play

The gas was on the sign as $2.45 for regular unleaded - but that pump was bagged up and not available, meaning I got the unleaded plus @ $2.55 - which was still $.14 cheaper than the $2.69 I saw the regular unleaded for on the other side of town. Go figure. Filled up, and praying they come down before putting $30+ in again next time.

$3.09 down the street here. I read today it will get to $4.00 per soon. Guess it's time to start rethinking my gots-to-drive-to-work-even-though-I-live-5-blocks-away hardline. =)

It's crazy how fast the prices are rising. I was driving around at noon trying to find a relatively cheap place to fill up. I had half a tank still, but I wanted to go ahead and get it done before prices went up any more. I missed out on the $2.65 (I think), and the next place I saw had regular unleaded for $2.85. The station right across the street from it was at $2.92. I knew of one more place to try, and it was still at the low price of $2.72. Six hours later, my hubby got gas at the same place for $2.82. I wonder what it'll be like tomorrow...

I got sick of it all and bought a scooter.

I'm flying at 100miles/gallon or so.
