90's love hip hop makes a quantum leap. Metal begins its moral decline. Hair gets cut off Metalica starts it's attack ont Naptser and is boycotted by iggy until they became clean and sober. Grunge Rock! Rock regains REALNESS again.

I grew up on Pearl Jam and Candlebox. I'll have to go with 90s.
